Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is found to be an effective therapy in reducing anxiety and help people manage stress better. CBT can help you become aware of what types of unhelpful thoughts are likely to cause your feeling of anxiety or what is keeping you up at night. You will practice alternative ways of thinking and develop skills to better manage anxiety or not limited by irrational fears. It is possible to feel calmer, worry less, have new experience or get back to enjoying things. You may also find that the relaxation skills you practice will help you deal with stress better in general.
